And the production time? Well, animating took maybe 4-5 months on and off, then sounds and voices slowed it down greatly.

Yaaay, Kingdumb Hearts has returned.
Even though I did never play that game, seeing I don't even own a PS2, I nevertheless found this pretty extremly funny.

ACtually between chain of memories and kh2 there's one yeah where in Sora grew up (and when you're 13 years old, a year can have much diffrence) that and his voice actor had to wait 3 years between the 2 games even.
So Sora should have sounded like this in part 1 actually..ah well..

Congrats on this really funny series.
I also watched a couple of your other movies, hm, months ago actually. "Super Ash Bros" is freakin' awesome B-movie-style.

Screw those who give this a low score just 'cause "you didn't animate" - there are also OTHER types of movies you can make, not only flash animation.
(ermmm... please be so kind to ignore my "DK on drugs"-NG submission[s]... it relativly sux compared to my latest stuff... some of it I *might* submit to NG one day... whatever, the stuff *I* do is also radically different from yours)

Uhhh and speaking of it... How did you manage to squeeze your movies into such a low filesize while having such a good quality and framerate?? (hence the 8 for graphics)

Oh yeah! I remember DK on Drugs. Barrytoon though that was Nuts.

The Main Reason the quality is as good as it is and still within 5 Megs is because I made sure to keep each one no longer than 2 minutes.

OK, please take the following as constructional criticism.
(Errrrrr.... Me German so English be not perfect don't sometimes. :P)

There should have been more of a plot instead of "just" a bunch of fighting scenes put together, plus that one scene with Shadow and Maria (I mean... we already know that she's dead...).
Ummm, probably you should use a different "effect" for the background when Sonic is running/riding his bike (?!).
It's a bit weired to see the same "Playing SA2 is habit forming"-poster scrolling across the screen over and over and over and over again. Maybe the background-panorama should simply be a bit longer and more blurred...

Nethertheless, 7/10 isn't bad, it was a nice clip, and the feeling of the music always went with the movie.
BTW...
My guess would be that the music is from "Sonic The Hegdehog The Movie", is that correct?

You guessede correctly! As I mentioned before that was sort of an art piece. Most music clips don't usually have much of a story to them anyway (besides I couldn't think of a way to fit one) I know that you and most of the world already knows that Maria is dead, but at the time Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was the newest release so I was trying to keep with that "present" time. About the background. I'll admit I see your point about the repeating "Playing SA2 is habit forming" poster. I could say that I'm trying to promote the game, but that's just plain corny. At that time I knew shit about altering backgrounds so I had to word with what I'd got. Still, like you said, it isn't bad and at least you liked it.

Dude, that's like a huge birthday present for me (yes today actually is my birthday)!!

WAAAAAAAAY much better than the first one, although I really couldn't think of any possible way to make it even better than part1! WOW!!

1 question concerning part 1; how exactly did you modify the Matrix-music? I've got the "Matrix Reloaded" CD too. I know that the ending music of Power Star 1 is track 6 (Burly Brawl; lenght 5:52), disc 2 - and reversed... plus something else.

I liked that... so I would like to know what exactly you did...

[Mario VS Robotnik]

Not bad for a beginner!

You see lots of "first flashs" (or i your case fourth) around here, and not that many of them reach this standart already.

Of course, the graphics might need some fixing etc etc etc bla bla,
(although I think they're not THAT bad) but it seems you got the hang of how to make a funny flash-movie.
(A close up "camera" onto the characters is already one good step, many ppl don't zoom in in their early flashs, which simply looks stupid.)

So I think it could be interesting to see your future works.

...btw, some of the text dissappeared to fast (but don't even THINK about one of those "click this button to continue the dialog"-buttons!)

Yeah, the text thing is because I got a bit lazy after changing the FPS from 12 to 24.

I'll beta-test my flashes with others aswell next time.
