awesome work

This flash was a very creative and artistic piece of work.
I liked how you made the shadings on the pixelated characters.
Looked almost like an old old-school adventure game (uhhh like Monkey Island or something), only even older. ^^"
Pretty cool actually.

These "incorrectly displayed characters" on the blackboard in the last scene were also giving you somehow the impression of this being some odd sort of computer world. I liked that.

Only the music wasn't my thing, but as it added to the overall athmosphere, so no minus-points for the overall rating.

Yeah, so much about Newgrounds only being for flash-movies...

I have already seen several of your creations and they are really nice, especially those B-movie-alike action-figure-clips.

BTW, what program do you use for getting your movies into an swf that good quality but with such a low filesize?

1 question concerning part 1; how exactly did you modify the Matrix-music? I've got the "Matrix Reloaded" CD too. I know that the ending music of Power Star 1 is track 6 (Burly Brawl; lenght 5:52), disc 2 - and reversed... plus something else.

I liked that... so I would like to know what exactly you did...

That's actually funnier than Skits'n'Bits

Yeah the first two or something seemed funny to me... but it got kinda "boring" after that (or at least to say it less dramatic, its "funniness" decreased).
I still will continue to watch Skits'n'Bits (if your collab here isn't going to ruin that guy) but it's not like a new VGDC-movie or something (although Randy Solem also has a flavour for toilet humor... just to mention that).

However, in one point I disagree with you; if you're making fun of his movies, you can't just say "Oh look the background and that waterfall over here aren't animated, conclusion: this movie sucks lol".

Decent graphics are not necessarily a criterium for a good movie... Let's just say it with the words of Nintendo...
"good ideas beat good graphics".

But there also were some funny parts, in the beginning.
Not that I want to criticise you (I bet I sometimes make mistakes similar to that too... maybe even in this review, who knows), I just found it funny and wanted to let you know...

L'mao, "beladen" doesn't mean "loading" considering a computer-program... ^^
You would "beladen" a truck or something...

And "Spiel" means actually "game" (like a videogame), so it doesn't mean "play". ;-D

As I said above, it's no criticism. It's just a bit funny, in a positive way. ^^

First I had to laugh because I thought there would be only that one "choice"... I mean... that would already have been funny...

A "Sonic VS Pikachu - Choose your winner screen", with "Sonic" bing the only one option. XD

After that it got funnier and funnier.

Good job, made me smile.

One more thing, maybe you could make a close-up on the characters sometimes... that might make it look better.

Sorry, but...

...the sound-quality of of the voices is SO bad that I couldn't get any of the jokes.

The graphics may be ...not tooooo good, but that would be OK if these movies (part 1-1 & 1-2) would have good jokes, and as I was unable to understand what the characters were actually saying I am unfortunatelly unable to judge the humor correctly.

However, in your author's comment you stated that the cast members have bad microphones and that's the reason for the bad sound-quality...

There is a simple solution to that; add subtitles!

Not bad for a beginner!

You see lots of "first flashs" (or i your case fourth) around here, and not that many of them reach this standart already.

Of course, the graphics might need some fixing etc etc etc bla bla,
(although I think they're not THAT bad) but it seems you got the hang of how to make a funny flash-movie.
(A close up "camera" onto the characters is already one good step, many ppl don't zoom in in their early flashs, which simply looks stupid.)

So I think it could be interesting to see your future works.

...btw, some of the text dissappeared to fast (but don't even THINK about one of those "click this button to continue the dialog"-buttons!)

Yeah, the text thing is because I got a bit lazy after changing the FPS from 12 to 24.

I'll beta-test my flashes with others aswell next time.

Looking foreward to an interesting series

This has style.
The sprites, the plot, the dialogues...
Even the credits have style.

The idea to use those soundeffects when someone was speaking is great, of course voice-actors would be better (but I assume you couldn't find the right ones), anyway this is definitelly better than just "text only", and it also fits to the Mario-games.

All in all, I am looking foreward to see the next parts.
